ABOUT MIKE SCOTT
Before becoming a guide Mike trained as a forester and worked for the Forestry Commission in Zimbabwe for more than eight years. He qualified as a guide in 1990 and has been travelling through the southern African sub region even longer. This accumulated wealth of knowledge ensures your safari experience is authentic, memorable, safe and exciting. During the off-season Mike prepares for the upcoming safari season, leads kajak expeditions in Mozambique, supplies logistics for scientific studies and much more. Bernard Sibanda grew up near the Shangani River in the heart of Matabeleland. Mike and Bernard met whilst working for the forestry department, where Bernard was already honing his tracking and bush-cooking skills. Bernard's talents ensure that shy and sly creatures are tracked successfully and that tasty bush meals are freshly prepared over an open camp fire. ABOUT PETER SOLOMON
Peter Solomon was raised on a farm in the middle of Zimbabwe, where he fostered a love for the outdoors and nature. He started his guiding apprenticeship at 18 gaining valuable experience across Zimbabwe, under some of Zimbabwes best walking guides. After qualifying in 2021 as a professional guide and youngest of his year, he has worked in some of the most remote wildernesses of Zimbabwe and continues to grow his knowledge and love for all things wild with a special interest in walking safaris and birding. |
